What I Did Today

Today I began by writing job listing summaries and posting them to CTP’s skill center page. When the Zoom meeting opened up, I said hello to some of the new participants before moving to my breakout room. Next I worked on typing, and did about 15 typing tests. My goal was to improve y consistency, but that didn’t really work. I decided to not type slower to improve consistency, but rather just continue if I make a mistake. I spent some time on emergency food/grocery resource research, mainly focusing on food resources in Santa Barbara County, as that is one county Carrie told me to consider, and it seems to have a lot of food resources to document. After that, I switched to looking for CTP Alumni LinkedIn profiles. I managed to find two existing profiles that were confirmed to be CTP graduates, although one of them was Alex, who is current staff anyway. Finally, I finished up by continuing ERG outreach, although I was only able to find one contact form to fill out.
