9/27/2024 What I Did Today

I worked on my cover letter and resume. I needed to add more about my counseling career. I also learned the importance of the S.T.A.R. model to rely on for interviews. I was delighted to see that I was already for the most part doing that. I then concluded the day with the mock interviews with Carrie. I also was told there is the possibility of being employed at CTP as an intern which I am excited about. This also would give more weight to my resume.

What I did today.

I began the day by presenting a tech article on Microsoft’s new Windows 10 App, highlighting its key features and innovations. Next, I engaged in a Customer Service role-play for Sunshine Express, where we took turns acting as the employee and customer, navigating different scenarios to improve communication and problem-solving skills. Finally, I wrapped up the day with an End-of-Month Reflection using the Rose, Bud, and Thorn method, identifying successes, areas of growth, and challenges. Overall, it was a highly productive and insightful day.

What I Did Today

Today I started out with some job postings for the students. After I met with my DoR rep, who informed me this might NOT be my last day, and that I may be able to finish the hours of my last AWEX period at a future date. Hooray! I spent the rest of the day contacting companies for our ERG Outreach project, totaling five. I’m happy with what I’ve contributed so far, and look forward to being able to contribute more in the near future!

What I did Today

Today I started by presenting my tech article for the week. We then practiced our customer service interactions and the best ways to deal with customer complaints. Then it was time for the end-of-month celebration.
