What I did today

Today was a real joy. I spent the day diving into HTML and learning how to set up a website from scratch. I worked with a virtual machine to edit the site and connected remotely to the server using SSH, which was a cool experience. I used ChatGPT quite a bit to help me figure out the exact code and troubleshoot some tricky parts, but in the end, I’m really happy with how everything turned out. It feels great to see my website come together after putting in the effort to learn and problem-solve along the way. I’m definitely eager to keep building on what I’ve learned and explore more about HTML coding in the future.

Here is the website.

What I did today.

Today, I focused on coding and working with web servers. I created a web page on a virtual web server, adding an “About” page and updating the home page with a new background color. I also used wget to download a photo from the internet and successfully displayed it on the page.
