I worked on my resume. I think it is almost finished. I also Did the interview questions and Carrie indicated that there has been much improvement. I was happy hear that. My only disappointment is that my voice mail is not on my phone but I will remedy the problem by going to T-Mobile to find out what happened.

Today was Employment Services Day. We reviewed different job search websites to get an idea of which would be most useful for us. I then worked on my portfolio and Interview questions and answers until we did interview practice for the rest of the day.

Today was fun because we got to work with Carrie on Job Skills stuff. I started my resume today and began to keep every charted for Fridays, as well as found out more websites to look for jobs. Thank you CTP

Learned to be sharp in an interview scenario from Carrie, she’s fantastic at teaching the necessary things. Enjoyed listening to the other classmates.

I completed setting up the Debian-PC VM and created a clone. I then installed the Windows-PC OS. I’m getting more comfortable with navigating through these steps. I continued working on the ticket process after finishing the VM ISO installation. I was also introduced to Slack and received links to tech articles that interest me. I’m looking forward to the challenges next week will bring.

As for my first day working here at CTP, I had an introduction to the workplace flow and after that I started and finished 3 job posts. And overall it was a great first day here at CTP

I typed 40 WPM with no errors. I am pleased to see I am doing significantly better. The rest of the Day we spent on reviewing Google Sheets and completing the Girl Scout Cookie in-class assignment. I learned a formula for rounding up numbers into whole numbers for averages. I am able to conceptualize the way formulas work better thanks to Marc helping me in better comprehending what is going on.

Today I started with job postings for the students, and then transitioned to the Social Media project. I spent a fair amount of time learning how to use Mastodon, as LinkedIn’s social media space seems to mostly be advertisements, and I was at least able to find a relevant article by the end of the day. Looking forward to checking in with Carrie next week!

Today I started by presenting my weekly tech article. I then worked on Google Sheets projects and my portfolio for the rest of the session.

I worked on a spreadsheet. They are very challenging for me. I made better progress today than I have previously. Thanks to Marc for teaching me and for being so patient. See you tomorrow.
