Today in PRO 10/07/2024

As each week begins and the repetition of continuous project, this class is not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

What I Did Today

I started today by looking for job listing to post to CTP’s skill center page, which graduates can apply for. I found mostly on-site customer service jobs, which require some computer and office software skills. I also posted a real-world example of communication in the workplace that happened to a friend of mine, and how it led to a positive outcome. I hope that it can give people the courage to speak up when they are feeling overwhelmed. Next I worked on California food pantry research, and spent some time adding a few more companies to the ERG research sheet. Next, I worked on the Google Slides assignment with other associates, and we were able to make a lot of progress. I thought I was going to be absent today last week, but I had the wrong day, and it was actually tomorrow. I will probably still think about the Slides project tomorrow, as it’s an opportunity for creative expression, but we won’t meet about it again until Wednesday.
