What I Did Today
Today I started the day by double-checking my hours as there was some confusion due to an absence last week. After corresponding via email about it, I confirmed everything was correct and was able to continue like normal. Next, I did research into job listings to summarize and post onto CTP’s skill center page. I then had a chance to practice typing for a little while, and wasn’t able to match my recent scores from yesterday. After that, I finished up any extra info I could find related to CRA research, but realized I had gone through all the companies listed on the audit page. I then had a check-in meeting with Carrie, where I clarified some things and started on B-Corp outreach. Although I had already done some B-Corp research, I didn’t previously have the template to do the outreach. I ended up spending most of the remaining time on just research, though. I got annoyed by the B-Corp search page, and found a way to remove certain elements of the page to make it easier to navigate. I then made a picture guide on how to set it up for other associates, and then Jose chimed in with more info on how to improve the page. I’m happy I was able to use my skills to help.
