Today I worked on a challenge and I got a better score than I thought I would. I still need to work more on my formulas on google sheets.
What I did today.
Today, I started by practicing my typing speed on Monkeytype for the first 15 minutes. After that, I took on an independent challenge using Google Docs. This involved changing formats, adding bullets, and creating a table of contents. Lastly, I copied a Google Sheets document and worked on formatting, including organizing text into columns and adding formulas. It was a great challenge and I feel like I made good progress with updating my Google Docs formatting skills.
What I did today.
Today was not unlike any other, I did the usual, but I am enjoying helping out where I can

What I did Today
Today I started with typing practice. We then moved on to the Independent Challenge and worked on that for most of the day. When I was done with the challenge I worked on my training portfolio until the allotted time for the challenge was finished. Afterward, we watched a customer service video and did check-ins on the Independent Challenge.
Today in CTP 9/23/2024
Today started out a little stressful, because I entered into something I wasn’t familiar with.
As I read the directions the first two parts were understandable to me. When I entered into the sheets assignment, I’d forgotten a lot of it. So I’m needing to brush up on those skills.

What I Did Today
Today I was not given any new assignments, so I continued working on posting job listings to CTP’s skill center. I also looked up some more food resources in both Calaveras County and Tuolumne County. I also learned some new things about Workday to make sure I am logging time correctly. There have been some new job listings since last week, so I rotated through some search terms I had used before to try my luck at them again. I also expanded my search to more areas in California, and found at least one IT position listing. I have found using a search term like “Customer Service Representative” can get plenty of listings in a field that works directly with customers at a front-desk, and also listings that practice phones etiquette, which is a skill learned in CTP’s training. However, I generally try to look for more office-setting jobs, since front-desk customer service is only a small facet of jobs that use computer technologies. Overall, I’m happy with what I was able to find today, despite a slow start.
What I did today
Starting the week proper, I took care of three job listings and then scoured the ERG spreadsheet for more groups to contact. The yield was disappointing but I managed to reach out to some companies.
