Today I looked for good jobs to post at the skill center and found some decent roles that pay well. I worked on the emergency food list and looked at the counties that were nearly complete, confirming all the resources were posted. I attended a meeting with Carrie to check in and discuss holiday hours, and then I worked on the ERG list.

Today I created a flyer to promote CTP. It was a fun assignment and though it did give me a bit of a challenge I succeeded. This time I was able to put the background image in without assistance from the instructor. One improvement at a time helps me move forward with knowledge!

What I Did Today
Today I realized my computer was acting very slow, both with loading pages and opening programs, and I decided I would wait to troubleshoot until my shift was over. I began by looking at job listings to post to CTP’s skill center page for a while, and then I switched to practicing my typing speed. Unfortunately, both my average speed and average accuracy went down a bit. Afterward, Carrie assigned a new task to finish today to me and another associate. It involved looking into physical rehabilitation services on healthcare pages, and seeing if they had vocational arms for CTP to reach out to. I was happy to see all the support for people who had suffered injuries or other disabilities and the resources for them during the research. Lastly, I worked on CTP Alumni Research, and then looked into B-Corps that align with CTP’s goals for potential outreach.
