Alameda County SSA is hosting its Annual Fair Chance Job & Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 26th, from 11 am to 3 pm. They have over 75 employers confirmed.
Core Graduation June 1st 2023
Graduation for all core participant (afternoon class, CTT and PRO) who have finished before this date will be June 1st 2023 at 6:00pm. Staff will be in touch with you to help you register, and you are welcome to bring guests. The event will be held via Zoom. Looking forward to seeing you for the event and congratulations!
What I did today
The session started with typing practice. Then I worked on completing the CTT Orientation and Setup Labs. I continued to configure my browser and added more bookmarks for the training. Later, I listened to a lecture about Computer Networking. Then I practiced creating a network diagram on my own using something called the Network Building Block. Overall, today was a busy day and it felt very productive.
What I did today.
Typing test. Still not very fast. But I will keep at it. We did some customer complaint scenarios. Pretty fun.
Annnnnd….I have finished with basic training and am ready to put myself out there! Thank everyone again.

Worked with the phone systems again and practiced different phone scenarios.
Recorded and finished up with my Portfolio. Yay!

Typing practice. My ZOOM group worked on business phone etiquette. I was able to
connect with everyone and give them the correct info. Bravo! And also worked on my Portfolio. Thank you

Touch Typing. Everybody got hooked on the phone system. And worked on making professional
signatures and other email niceties such as the difference between business mail and personnel mail.
And I also was working with Mike C. on a portfolio project.

Today I worked on my LinkedIn bio. We did interview questions. We learned about the STAR method for answering interview questions.

A very Basic day working with mike and my Portfolio. We also reviewed the File folder and nesting.
Almost finished with my PRO course instructions and getting ready to acquire some gainful employment.

Finished my Word Press Bio. Had a decent interview with Devin and Carrie. Worked on Accountability
assignment. We also did invites on our calendar. All in all a busy day.
