Today I had trouble getting going early on, and spent the first half hour looking for job listings without much luck. I switched my search terms around and finally got going, and managed to finish 3 job listing posts and posted them to CTP’s skill center in the first 90 minutes or so. After that, I needed to take an extended break, and it ended up taking around 20 minutes. To make up for it, I skipped one of my later breaks. I continued by working on my typing speed as part of my professional skills development goals. My typing speed only started going up when I focused on typing at a constant speed rather than consistency or typing with constant accuracy. My overall accuracy is still lower on average, but I’m happy my speed is consistently higher. I spend most of the rest of the day on CRA research, and I had a lot of questions about the assignment, as the list I was using last week seems to have changed. Regardless, I found my bearings and managed to make progress, but I still had lingering questions for Carrie the next time she is available. In the meantime, I posted my questions and thought process in the chat to describe what I was working on during this time, and communicate my confusion. In the end, I was able to add 3 or 4 entries to the spreadsheet, in particular the contact info. I did not do any outreach because I have not heard back from Carrie about the status of the current outreach template. I noticed on the FDIC site that 2nd quarter audits were added, but I’m not sure if I’m expected to look at those yet. I was able to get a lot done today, despite the slow start. Awaiting answers about this assignment as well as any new upcoming tasks in the coming days.

What I Did Today
Today I started with some job postings for the students, and then moved on to the ERG Outreach program. I got a few interesting leads, we’ll see if it goes anywhere! I also checked in with Carrie, who assigned me the Alumni Outreach project for my last week. I’ll be sad when this internship is over, but I’ve learned a LOT!
What I did today.
Today, I worked on my job posts, Alumni Outreach (AO), and EFG. I realized that I have been handling my job posts incorrectly, but I plan to fix that. My Alumni Outreach (AO) is going okay, although I still haven’t found anyone yet, which is sometimes the case. As for my EFG, I feel I’m doing well, but there’s always more to learn. Overall, there’s a lot to be done, and I’m ready to face it head-on!

What I did today
Today, I created a spreadsheet for Girl Scout Cookie Sales. This was a fun assignment for me, although I did have a little trouble figuring out the formula for the 20% increase. When I finally found the correct formula, I felt very proud of myself for accomplishing something difficult.
VMbox is working at the moment
