What I did today:
Today we reconnected in class and started with our typing practice. The class was all about us working on some electives the instructors gave us to try using and practicing the various skills they have been teaching us. We worked on our own time and project. It was a little scary but a good day.
What I Did Today
First, I posted some job listings as per usual. It definitely seems like there are a lot more scams out there then there used to be, so I had to check each listing carefully, and ended up rejecting more then half of them. After that I sent out more donation requests, mostly to prominent businesses in San Francisco, but also a few local places. A productive day, overall!
What I Learned Today
Today’s learning journey was filled with the process of setting up a Windows 10 virtual machine (VM) on a remote computer. There were multiple steps and configurations throughout the process. Ultimately, achieving a fully functional Windows 10 VM on a remote desktop.
What I did Today!
Today we started the Remote Connectivity lab. I installed and tested out a bunch of different remote control softwares and compared their features and costs. I really like how fast RDP is if you have local access to the machine however AnyDesk was very good for connecting over the internet. My personal choice is Parsec because it was built for gaming, and I use it to remote control my PC from my Phone when I want to play a game while in bed!
What I did Today
Today I added additional job postings to the list. I reviewed the Graduation Sponsorship list for duplicates and removed them. I edited the links to the entries that I added. I sent out six letters to prospective sponsors.
