Today I did better on my typing, I got 61 WPM and 100% accuracy. I also got to work on my independent challenge, which I feel like after so many practices this one was the best. I got to practice scrpits on 3CX phone website, and I got to setup a proffesional voicemail.
Today in PRO…10/22/2024
I had a blast in PRO today. We got all of our phone lines set up with the 3Cx phone system. This was my 2nd time doing this class and it has been fun and interesting. It is nothing like the old switchboards of back in the day. Technology has made a difference in today’s world.
What I did today!
Today I began with Monkey typing for about 15 to 20 minutes. I also began my Docs: Independent Challenge V1. We practiced customer service training in groups as well.
What I did today.
I did the independent challenge and mock phone calls with Fred, we did well. I created a voicemail message on C3X. All in all, it was a great day. I really want to complete this portion of the program on Thursday. I get to be recorded tomorrow for my portfolio.
What I Did Today
Today I spent the first hour looking for job listings and posting them to CTP’s skill center page. I found 3 listings, but wasn’t able to find any that were remote positions. I always like to spend some time scouring for remote positions, since they are much more accessible in general. Next I worked on ERG research and even filled in the remaining contact links in the contact column, although not all of them were simple contact forms and some of them required more digging to find an appropriate contact avenue which might be left for Carrie to handle. I also spent some time of food pantry research. I found some resources via links that had already been posted, but didn’t include all program offerings or in all areas, such as one I found in American Canyon in Napa County. Finally, I continued looking for more job listings and eventually found one which was a fully remote job. I even found one more before the end of the day. I am going to focus on doing a little bit of everything until I am assigned new tasks.
