What I learned today

In my exploration of Chrome extensions, today I dived into a variety of tools that enhance browsing experiences. I learned about several different Chrome extensions. uBlock Origin was one of the Chrome extensions that prohibited several websites from working properly. I learned how to turn off uBlock Origin for specific websites to respond properly.

What I did Today!

Today was orientation to CTP’s core training CTT. We got our Chrome browser set up for class with the needed accounts and bookmarks. We also had a quick overview of what is coming up in the next month. I was excited for this class and already had most of the setup complete before today started but I did use the class time to move my passwords from Chrome’s built in storage to LastPass. Mikayla was having an issue with HomeBase timeclock not working and I was able to help determine that uBlock Origin was incorrectly blocking the timeclock popup from appearing.

I am really looking forward to getting into more technical projects moving forward!

What I did today..

Today, Monday 2/5/24 was a good day to start a new week in a new class; CTP Pro. I was excited to learn more things on Google like utilizing the calendar as I like prioritizing my day and knowing good places to put things in order. It’s always good practice to remember we are accountable. We are learning new ways of accountability to grow our professional life and how important it is to be on time. I was happy to learn I can use Google Calendar to be proactive and schedule important emails ahead of time. Today this is something new to begin doing a blog. I hope I can log in and post daily and get my assignments done on time as well.
