What I Did Today

Today I started by helping a new AWEX associate get oriented with their schedule in Carrie’s absence, and then I began my usual task of finding and summarizing job listings to CTP’s skill center page. I found 3 job listings, including one that listed up to 3 open positions, and an additional one for bilingual candidates. I then continued with alumni research without much luck, and afterward I spent some time on B-Corp research. Carrie and I had our first phone check-in around noon, in which we discussed several things, including a new task for next week. It seemed like a productive conversation, and I was able to get practice explaining my workflow over the phone. Finally, I continued with DEI research, during which I noticed the company DEI initiative list has been updating since many were added to the spreadsheet, and so some of them have since dismantled their DEI initiative. I crossed off the ones that did from the sheet, but kept the information there just in case. Throughout the day, I helped my fellow associate with questions, and it felt good to be able to be a source of guidance.

What I did today.

I navigated Indeed job listings carefully, analyzing them for potential success before posting them on WordPress. I utilized Telegram to communicate with Associates and team members, etc. I remember the skills I’ve learned, like jumping from one window to another without losing what I’m working on. Most importantly I find these tasks very interesting, making it easier to manage time and have endurance and patience throughout my work day. I will get progressively better and learn more each day. Bless you all in your CTP journey.
