What I did today:

Today I worked on the elective that gave me the most fear to try, the Google slides. I have never made or used PowerPoint, so I am excited to learn how to use Google Slides. I tried a few technical things in the slides. I am fairly happy with the help from the instructor, to complete my Google slide elective task. This being my second slide, I feel more confident to share it. Whew!

Grateful for all the learning I am doing…

What I Did Today

Today I posted some job listings, and also sent out fundraising/donation emails. Additionally I checked in with Carrie and shared my experiences with the Salesforce CRM tutorial that is being considered for inclusion. It’s definitely challenging, but I think it is a great skill to have, so I hope it gets added to the regular curriculum!

What I did today

Today I added additional entries to the Job Postings list. I met with Carrie to discuss the Trailhead Salesforce tutorial. I continued working on the Trailhead tutorial. Unfortunately for me, this tutorial is not as intuitive as I had hoped. This one will be slow going for me. There is a lot of language I do not understand right away. I’m going to need a lot of time to understand this CRM. I think I need to spend some time in each SJS/AWEX session I attend working on this tutorial.

Job Listing: In-Person Administrative Assistant, San Fransisco/Oakland (Full Time)

LHH is looking to hire a full time Administrative Assistant. This is slightly complicated by the fact that they are moving from San Fransisco to Oakland in April, so applicants will have to be comfortable working at both locations. Still, this is a great fit for those with basic administrative and phone-answering skills! Minimum experience is two years in an office setting.
