The class was pretty chill today. Had a sexual harassment training video we had to complete. Was about over an hour long. There was some good information in the video. After, we took the test and shared our certificates with our instructor. Then just finished working on my job log. Marc helped me with my LinkedIn, explained how it works and how I can get a professional photo. Listened to some of the classmates share their interview stories, during the mock interviews. Was enjoyable. 11.15.24

Today, we reviewed a training on Sexual Harassment and conduct, and how to maintain a harassment-free work environment. A great great reminder and another informative day in class!

Today I was working on the sexual harassment awareness and prevention assignment.

I began the day with focused typing practice on Monkey-Type, honing my speed and accuracy. I then dedicated time to refining my resume and updating my LinkedIn profile, ensuring a polished and professional presentation. Next, I worked on my Core Training Portfolio Presentation in Google Slides, making it visually clear, engaging, and impactful. To conclude the day, I completed the CTT self-assessment survey, gaining valuable insights into my progress and identifying areas for growth.

Completed sexual harassment awareness and prevention course, and worked on professional documents.

Today began with Monkey Type. Then we had sexual harassment training. I finished with my Weekly Self Assessment CTT. We practiced our mock interview questions.

Today I worked on my job log and practice questions for interviews. I also completed the video on sexual harassment and got my certificate of completion.

Today was employment services day, and I utilized my time today, finishing up with my job log template assignments. I got most items done, but there is only one thing left to complete, which would be my 30-second elevator pitch for my portfolio.

Today I did my EFG and my job posts as well as my AO/Alumni Outreach and I had a pretty fun time.

Today I started out with some job postings for the students. I then transitioned to the ERG Outreach project. Several of the companies I tried to contact today limit messages to 500 characters, I should ask Carrie if we can make an abridged version of our outreach script. Other then that, a successful day!
