What I did this week

I have been powering through my skillsoft on my off time, showing up to class on time. I have been doing the independent assignments this week as well. I have been getting to know my classmates as well which as been extremely nice.

What I Did Today (Plus This Week)

August 26, 2026: I may have typed a bit slower during my typing test today, but I finished my customer service responses assignment. I also took a look at the review of the challenge I did on Monday and found that I made a mistake on the naming part of the document. Other than that, I did pretty well.

August 24-26, 2026: This week, I set up an app called MicroSIP, learned how to use it, completed a challenge about Google Docs and Google Sheets, and learned how to write professional responses to examples of customer feedback.

What Today Held

Wellp,
I missed a very important portion of class today calling each other on the phones and transferring/ conference calling each other. I do feel alright as I was able to get a bit of practice in yesterday as some of us were getting to set up their phone number accounts, so to be completely honest I don’t feel as terrible. Now, the written customer service answers are fun and give me perspective on how to be ready to answer messages with ease. I am also training myself not to ramble on and over explain in these (and all) situations. Thank you all for your aid.

OH! Also, thank you Jasper for reminding of the dangers of putting my verification information online. The hacking is something I tend to forget and pass over!

What did I do today

Started the day by clocking in with Homebase. I did some typing for the first 15 minutes of class. After that, I worked with Jose on fixing my Core Training Portfolio and then recorded the presentation. After that, I watched a video on customer service and then did a customer service response. I would say today was a fun and easy day. I am ready to do my “What did I do today” post then clock out of Homebase

What I Did Today

We started PRO training today with typing practice and I set a new personal record at 85 WPM and 98% accuracy. It’s fun to be able to challenge myself to get better and expect results to improve over time.

Next, we were left with anticipation on yesterday’s Independent Challenge V2. I expected that we would review the results today, but that will be leftover for tomorrow.

Instead, we worked on MicroSIP for about an hour. I worked in groups with Elizabeth and Lars. I was able to complete the Attended transfer and the scripts for scenarios 1-4. I’m still unsure about how to manage multiple lines for the transfer and it may have just been luck that I was able to connect my teammates on the transfer call.

Finally, we watched a video on Customer service phone call scenarios, and worked on a google doc writing responses to customer complaints at BerkMart. Even though BerkMart isn’t technically real, the complaints sounded like everyday problems. Working on the language part without being stressed about customers was a helpful exercise.

What I did today

8 25 2026

Today we worked with the Microslips app and role-played as an employee and a customer in three different scenarios. After that, we worked on customer service responses after watching an informative video on customer service. It was also interesting to learn how to put a hold on the conversation and transfer the call. Overall, I say it was a good time in class today.
