Class was very interesting and nerve-wracking as we had Carrie interview us in a breakout room and record our answers. We get to see the results next Friday. Then I worked on my cover letter. We finished with the interview questions, some very good answers. Thank you, Carrie. Can’t believe we graduate next week! We have all worked hard.
What Today Held 07.24.2026
I missed class yesterday not feeling well. Spoke about what they did while waiting for class to begin and it sounds so fun; maybe I can catch up and complete the tasks for yesterday. Today we went through interview questions and hearing my classmates answers are extremely helpful to help alter my answers. Again, the layout of class and gaining information/ timing is handled very well and building my timing back up. Also, aiding each other in our skills and really working as a true team is inspirational for work and really helping me define the type of working environment I prefer.

Video Interview – we got recorded answering some interview questions. I think the fact that we were being recorded made me more anxious than normal. I was grateful for the experience and to get out of my box. Then we worked on our employment accessories like a resume and Interview answers. I made my resume designed for different aspects of the job that I am looking for. So, they are tailored for each job. Then I emailed it to myself so that I have it available on my phone. Why, I didn’t think of that before; better late than never. Then we practiced interview questions, which I am grateful for, as it helps me to be secure in my answers.
What did I do today
Today, I did a practice video interview. Then I tried to work on my LinkedIn profile. Also, I am doing the practice interview with different participants. Now I am doing the “What did I do today?” post and doing the CTT assessment.
What I did this Week
In the middle of the day, Jose put me in a breakout room with other students who needed to install and setup the MicroSIP application for VOIP interface and simulated phone call activities. It went smoothly, however by the end of the day, I had so many Power of Wellness tabs open that my computer started running slowly.
When I came back to class after the MicroSIP install, I was able to complete the Square Store transaction with Michael over the Zoom call. I was still having computer issues with multitasking, so I may explore cleaning up my hard drive and/or giving my browsers some time to refresh and update without so many tabs open.
Those were the main activities today, and yesterday was the mock interview with Mechanics Bank (even though there was no corresponding blog post). I felt Mr. Richardson was extremely attentive, listening to my storytelling very carefully while giving me a generous amount of feedback. By the end of the interview, I was definitely worn out and tired of talking myself “up” but now that it’s over I felt it was good confidence building and practice.
What did I do today
Started the day by clocking in with Homebase. After that, we jumped right into tech articles, and I wrote an article about OpenAI shutting down Atlas, an AI browser, and heard from other participants about their articles. After the tech articles, I then worked on Part 3 of the lab, which was creating an image, and wrote the steps on how I did it on osTicket. I also explored how to use Clonezilla and how to create an image of the Windows 10 virtual machine. I had a great day today. Before the class ends, I will do a “What did I do today?” post, and then after the class, I will clock out of Homebase.
What I did today?
This was a POW! week. We made massage appointments for clients. But before that, we enrolled the clients as new members. Once the clients were booked for their appointments, we had to log them in on a Google Sheet and block both sides of the appointment to make sure that the massage location was able to be cleaned 30 minutes before another appointment for sanitation reasons. That is very important. Then we also sent email confirmations to the clients. For our Accountability assignment, we had to send a reminder to the client a day before their appointment.
On Wednesday, we had MOCK interviews with Mechanics Bank. My interviewee was named Irene. She was wonderful to work with. She gave me great feedback after each question. I wasn’t able to network with her before I was brought out to the breakout room. Hopefully, tomorrow I can ask Carrie if I can get her LinkedIn.
Today, first, we created a bio in WordPress for POW! I decided to be something different, and I was a POW! Fitness Influencer. I would like to be an influencer one day in my life, so why not in class? Next, we worked on purchasing workout equipment and a personal training or consultation as scenarios. I was the employee, and Eleanor was my customer. This was a little tedious, but I was able to get all of this done pretty quickly. I also learned something today. I didn’t know that even though you didn’t create or copy a Google document, sheet, or slide, you can open it up from your Google Drive anyway. You learn something new every day.
What I did this week
We did a Zoom meeting setup to start the first part of the week
POW massage schedule assignment as well as scheduling a Personal Training appointment, ending with scheduling a Health Consultation.
Mock interview went well on Wednesday.
Started the day M-F with typing practice.
Created WordPress bio on Thursday.

What I Did Today
Today, my main responsibilities as an administrative associate are my daily task for the day to research and post job listings onto the CTP skill center website, as well as my main task for the day is to send out fundraising emails to former CTP graduates from a provided list using the provided email template to message them. I messaged around 6 emails today using the provided email template.
July 23, 2026
We started with our tech articles. Interesting, everyone did something with AI, but in all different aspects. One was how AI is helping with dark messages being sent by teenagers and getting them to the parents. Another was an AI browser being closed down. The other is AI used for measuring and sending data about the fog in Hawaii to help learn about water conservation. Finally, mine was AI being used in cat products like water fountains, food servers, and litter boxes to help improve the health of cats. This week we worked on the Disk imaging lab, which is getting backup images saved so that you can restore or fix computers more easily and efficiently. I got a little stuck on the advanced part using AOMEI and Clonezilla backup programs. We also had our Mock interviews with Mechanic Bank; I got some good feedback. They said I do not seem nervous and am easy to talk to. It was an interesting week.
