What I Did Today

August 7, 2026: Today, I answered some key interview questions that may be asked often in job interviews.

To recap this week, I installed a few extensions onto my browser, did a lab project and recorded notes about it on osTicket, worked on Percipio, found an interesting tech article via Slack, and finally practiced answering interview questions.

What Today Held 08.06.2026

Hello hello hello classmates! Class was wonderful today! I will say I completely forgot (with a reminder and everything) to send in my monthly evaluation email. Followed up and sent it in midclass. I enjoyed the theme of class today with little learning stages for different items. The notes taking then mini quiz surprised me that they went well. Though the quizes were pretty straight forward, they still gave me confidence in my ability to understand what notes need to be taken. I will still bring a voice recorder for all classes to make sure I didn’t miss any important points but I feel much less scared of lacking notetaking. I also loved making the pictures with painting cells. Smart way to teach some quality skills. Thank you for holding it down for us today Mike!

What did I do today

Started the day by clocking in with Homebase. I began the class by introducing myself because we had 2 new participants joining CTT. Then we went over the tech articles; this time, there was more space news instead of AI news. After the tech articles, we had a note-taking practice presentation and then took a note-taking quiz, and I think I did ok on it because when I was in school, I had an aide do the note-taking for me because I had a hard time taking notes. Before the class ended, I did a “What did I do today?” post, then clocked out of Homebase.

What I Did Today

Today, I had already finished my BerkMart Google Slides project, so there was a formatting assignment on Google Docs that I worked on for an hour. The assignment was to add Headings, Page Numbers, Table of Contents, and Section Breaks as a real-world formatting problem. I learned a few things having to insert the Table of Contents a few different times, making the document look just right, the way it should be.

Then, along with CTT people we ran through some note-taking assignments, testing out what we learned about Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, and Read/Write learners. It was pretty much the same as last months presentation. I even remembered the questions off the quiz from last time about Spotted Narwhals.

Finally, we learned how to Paint by Numbers on Google Sheets. It’s pretty neat to be messing around with Conditional Formatting rules for pure fun. I guess I never even knew that conditional formatting existed, so that should be an important thing to remember.
