What I Did Today

I had a rough start today, but I feel I really recovered! I started out with some job postings for the students (including a few provided by Carrie), and then transitioned to the ERG Outreach project. I’ve figured out a lot of tricks for finding contact emails from companies that don’t want to give them, and managed to fill out a whole section of the document! Pretty happy with myself!

What I did today.

Today, I started with 15 minutes of typing practice on MonkeyType to enhance my speed and accuracy. Next, I worked on a “leaving a message” exercise, drafting scripts for various phone scenarios such as a call-off message and responding to customer complaints. Afterward, I had a brief discussion with Jose about the Independent Challenge. I practiced BerkMart phone scripts to finish the day while becoming more familiar with the 3CX phone system. Finally, I completed an End-of-Month Reflection using the Rose, Bud, and Thorn exercise to evaluate my progress and identify growth opportunities.
