What I did today…

Hello, happy it’s Friday. Glad to not have to practice typing today. Today was career day and I am finally getting better at looking forward to it. We looked at various job-seeking sites, in which I found a job that seemed like it would fit me well. We worked on our resumes. We practiced our interviewing questions and ended with a fun question to close out our day… enjoyed ending on a fun note. Thankful our instructor is joyful, helpful, and patient. Have a nice weekend…It’s BBq time now!

What I Did Today

Today I worked on SkillSoft and an elective. I created a flyer for BerkMart. There were several tools I used to create the flyer. Some of the tools I used were font, size, image options, opacity, border, and much more. Some of the tools were almost hidden because they were within other tools drop-downs.

What I did today…

Today we practiced typing to begin our day. I finished working on completing my project on Google Sheets; Ann’s Catering. I went over my accountability on Workplace Conflict Resolution and my sheets elective on Ann’s Catering with the instructor. I feel I am making progress. It is good to be learning and practicing. Then, I finished working on my Skillsoft class to schedule my email sharing the topic and test. I finished out my day practicing another elective on the sheets program. It has been a productive week. Looking forward to career day tomorrow.

What I Did Today

Today we continued and finished up with out Web Server project. I found an application called WinSCP to push files from my windows desktop to the remote linux VM and that helped get images on the server in an easier way than doing wget in the terminal. I spent a good part of the lab time using ChatGPT to generate the HTML code because I am not a coder by nature, however I made sure to understand what the generated code did before using it.

What I Did Today

Today I started work by posting job listings. I had made an odd error with my time reporting that Carrie very kindly helped me correct. Nobody’s perfect, especially not me! After that I found some home-care agencies to add to the B-Corp project. It’s nice to have other people working on it, it’s cool to see what they find!
