Hello. As a class we watched a video about starting a Linkedin account. I then worked on adding more to my Experience section. We then practiced Interview questions.

Today I was introduced to the employment services part of the class and have started working on getting all the necessary documents together for future employment. I learned some more information about LinkedIn and how it brings employers and potential employees together. I also received my job log and started linking the necessary documents to it.

I set up my first ever Linkedin account. I need to ask questions to find out how I can use it. I did a little better answering questions. Still nervous though and very nearly babbled and I forgot the answer.

Today we talked about setting up LinkedIn profiles and spent much of the class time trying to fill in our profiles and network with each other. I used a tutorial video and took notes to remind me about all the important fields to fill out and some tips to fill them out as professionally as possible. I was happy to be able to get started on it as I have never used LinkedIn before, and I now understand how it is structured much better. Then we did practice interview questions as a group, and I struggled with the more opinionated questions, so I hope to plan out responses for those in the future.

Today I learned how to work with Linkdin. I’m still setting up my profile, but I feel like aspects of this project are mentally clicking. I’m also learning some effective interview techniques and things to say when trying to get a position.

Work on resume Q&A, typing, and Interviews Q&A.

Worked on indeed and tuned up link. Did Questions from Job log and finished up the week well.

Today I worked on my linkedin profile adding connections and verifying my account. I also worked on interview Q&A.
