ZOOM meeting for a weekly check-in with Carrie. She helped me set up a new e-mail account I will be using to solicit donations for the 2024 CTP graduation raffle. Plus we posted a Job Fair flyer.

What I did today

Today, we mostly worked on our written Customer Service Responses. I think I did very well. Afterwards, we watched an instructional video on listening to customers on the job. We then discussed what we learned from the video, and ways we related to some of the issues with listening presented. Overall, I think it was a very informative video.

What I Did Today

Today I had difficulties with Job listings. I posted only one listing and feel blessed to get even that.

So I put that on hold and went to the Skillsoft file explorer section. I am working in the organizing & search section. I will be in this section for a while as it is tough to absorb.

I also practiced my touch typing for about 20 minutes. Slowly but surely.

What I did today

Today, we practiced using 3CX, a digital phonecall service. We roleplayed a few customer service scenarios, and ultimately I think we did a good job.

After this, we began working on the written Customer Service Responses assignment.

Towards the end, I had already picked an article for this week’s tech article showcase, and should have enough notes written for it by tomorrow.

What I did today

Today I entered more job posts to the Job Postings List. All entries are variations on the administrative assistant position. All have competitive salaries and benefits. In addition to basic admin skills all require some next-level skills. I also worked on the Graduation Raffle List and the CRA Outreach List.
