What I did today…

I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to catch up with the class and I was devastated. Alex helped me to catch up on virtual machines. I was stuck in a saved state on them and not running…. And I installed and looked at a Windows VM and the installed partitions. I have a bit of a block on these things. Alex was very helpful….

What I did today…

It’s a wonderful Wednesday. Beautiful sunshiny day! Today I had good practice and a good score in typing. Then one other student and I were working on our Portfolio projects. I enjoyed today’s work since yesterday I had to think what to get on each slide; the right words and expressions I wanted. That was challenging. Today I was able to reread, reword, and reproof my work. I like doing that. Also, I enjoyed working on the creative side of the project. If only “my eyes” were better, I wouldn’t have to worry about the fonts so much. It was fun and interesting what things I could do to improve my presentation. I hope this is close to what I want my finished product to look like… have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday.

April 10, 2024

Today our instructor was absent, so it was mostly an independent work day. I worked on creating more virtual machines and their partitions per instructions. I also did a skillsoft course, and completed my weekly hours.

What I did today

I started my day out by continuing my on-boarding with Carrie. I have completed my onboarding and can start doing my job duties. I posted jobs on the C.T.P. job board till the end of my shift. I’m looking forward to my workday tomorrow.

What I Did Today

Today, I continued to work on my Core Training Portfolio Project. I made several changes to my Portfolio Project including adding a background color, changing the font, editing photos, layout, and more. I changed several features on some of the photos like the opacity, brightness, contracts, border, and more. In addition to researching jobs to try to find a second job for my Portfolio.
