Today we worked on a Self-assessment to copy the document without formatting and make it the same as the original. Then format it the way it says in the instructions. It was fairly easy.
After that, I worked on Spreadsheet recreation. It is very time-consuming and I messed up a few times but I’m glad I knew how to move spaces over not to mess the whole thing up. The spreadsheet is more tricky but I know how to do it, just needed a little more time.
.Today we worked on Independent challenges. I practiced my typing. I got stuck in a document the magnifyer would not allow me to decrease my document from 500 to 100. When I found the magnifier in the Google tabs on the right side it was a go from there. But that took at least 20-plus minutes. But reflecting on some our our assignments was really good for me.
Today we worked on typing, went through a presentation about styles in Google Docs, and then did an independent challenge for the rest of the day. I was able to get through the entire challenge and had time to spare. During the challenge I struggled to understand the number formatting a bit, but I got through it eventually. I liked being able to test my knowledge, especially with Google Sheets. With my extra time I mostly practiced typing, especially numbers and miscellaneous punctuation. Finally, I wrote this blog without looking at the keyboard for practice.
Work on soft skill, docs, sheet and “The Challenge”
Today I watched a customer service video and took an independent challenge. I got stuck on the last part, I need to look up the math functions in formulas to know which to use.
Hello. Today our class watched a video on contrasting the differences between good and poor customer service. Then we practiced using styles within a document. And lastly we worked on Independent Challenge V3.
Today we watched a video about customer service, and then we worked on an Independent challenge that included an assessment on the web, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
I did the Independent Challenge. I think I did well on most of it except for the sheets part. I couldn’t figure the formula to total out decimal points. I want to know the formula for decimal point and average total?
Today I practiced editing a google doc. I also took a personal challenge. I found the spread sheet potion challenging, but I will continue practicing.
Today I started out with some job postings for the students. Then I transitioned to the ERG Outreach project. This is a very challenging project for me! That being said, I feel like I’m making some headway, and I just hope what I’m contributing ends up being helpful.
