What I did today!

Today started out with a briefing about the mock interviews today. So we all adjusted ourselves and our environments to prepare for the mock interviews. I also completed my Independent Challenge: Sheets V1 while waiting to be mock interviewed. Of course we were eventually pulled out into separate breakout rooms for our mock interviews. I think mines went well. I was able to get good feedback for future interviews. Then we took a moment to express our experiences with our mock interviews.

What I Did Today

Today I spent the first hour or so looking for job listings and posting them to CTP’s skill center page. I found two jobs which were in the IT field. Next I researched food pantries in California, including some in Plumas County. Eventually, I had a check-in with Carrie to discuss a new task, which was ERG outreach via email. We went over the template and protocol for contact, however the spreadsheet needed to be updated before I could use it properly. I pointed out some inconsistencies in the spreadsheet and asked some clarifying questions before I really got going. I tried to spend the rest of the time getting into a workflow with the new task, but many sites used different forms or fields that I needed to fill out, and those slowed me down every time I encountered something different. I was able to get a few done, but ran out of time before I got too far. I am hoping to be able to get faster at it in the coming days.

Finally, I recorded greetings for the various voicemail options.
