This is a full-time position looking for applicants with knowledge using Spreadsheet, strong communicative/organizational skills, and data entry experience. Today, in the Employment Services class, I learned the “STAR” method for interviewing. I can see how this new tool will be helpful when explaining a situational experience during the interview process. I had a great day!
8/9/24 What I Did today
Worked on my linked-in profile. I finally found a perfect banner for making my customer service application stand out better. I answered potential interview questions.. And what I like is that I did not have to rely so much on notes as before. I felt my responses were more spontaneous then they were last month.

Today I was introduced to the ”STAR” method. This is an interview technique. I also worked on my resume and cover letter. To conclude, I did some interview practice. I feel like I’m improving a little each time we practice. Some of these questions are still challenging but this will be something I am determined to improve upon.

In today’s group mock interview, the focus was on delivering concise responses with clear examples, which also aligns with the ongoing effort to refine my LinkedIn profile for a more polished professional presence.

Today we started off with a presentation on the S.T.A.R. method for answering interview questions. I then worked on my professional documents until we switched to interview practice where I was able to practice my answers to different interview questions.
