Hello. Today our class worked on Electives. I continued to work on my Portfolio. I have something written on each of the slides. Tomorrow I look forward to refining what I hope to communicate and the appearance of each slide. I made progress.

Today I learned more about networking, by watching a video presentation. I continued working on my lab for the rest of the day.

Today I worked on my elective. I chose a slide project which is great because I would like a mental refreshment with google slides so I keep that aspect locked in. It is a little challenging, but I’m doing research on something I have been interest in for a while so that is helping me along.

I worked some more on my assignments. I am going to look at another elective. I feel like I have to focus on making spreadsheets for some reason. Have to really work on my typing speed.

Worked on the Networking presentation with the class as instructed by Carlos. Then watched some videos on networking.

What I Did Today
Today I posted my job listings and then proceeded to break the CTP Network! I was working on understanding and creating a network bridge on Mera, and I got it halfway working. I thought I understood what I was doing so I tried to modify the bridge to get it all the way working. This did not succeed, and I dont know why, and even worse when I tried to remove the network bridge I ended up losing access to the machine. After waiting a little bit hoping I would regain access I tried to connect to a different machine and was unable to reach that one as well. I restarted my own computer and still was not able to reach any CTP machine so at that point I reached out to Jose and he also could not access any CTP machines. We got to work with Alex on restoring access and mostly succeeded but a few machines are still offline while we try and understand where the source of the issue is.
What I Did Today
Today I took care of my job listings assignment. Once that was done, I returned to the Emergency Food & Grocery and Disability ERG projects. I’ll be wishing the best of luck to Paul in his future endeavors!
