Today I worked on Sunshine Express Point of Sales activity with other class members. We took turns until everyone had a turn. It was a very productive day.

Today we continued on our lab to test networking on a virtual LAN. I got to the part of the lab where I won’t always have explicit steps outlining what to do, so I have to figure out what to do using resources and manual research. I think I am finally getting a bigger picture understanding of how the network looks, and I’m working on a network diagram. I also had a check-in for my employment goals and possible accommodations. I hope to get a chance to finish the lab and get everything working to test my understanding this week.

Today I worked on completing the 2-layer network project. I’m testing it out now…. I hope we have time to work on this tomorrow some….

Today, I finished the pre-lab section on Networking, and caught up to where I was at with the Network building block segment. I have a lot to do still, but it shouldn’t be too hard to get through it.

Today we did POS Training with each other, using the Sunshine Express food menu. I had fun in this activity.

After that, I organized my files by creating a new folder on the desktop named PRO Class 2024, created 3 folders for June July, and August, then created 4 folders for each of the months for weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Today I continued working on the lab project. I also finished working on my core portfolio.

Today I practiced a customer service exercise. Navigating through it was a little challenging at first when it came to learning the cash register. Eventually, I got that mental click. The employee part wasn’t too hard since I have some experience in customer service. I also opened a folder to organize my Homework and completed assignments over time for the course.

Set up my file folders for Pro class. I’ll transfer files into them tonight and tomorrow. Did my intake review with Carrie. Practiced sales training in class.

I got my porfolio together with Carlos. THen finished up pfSence exercise.

I began my workday with the three daily job listings. Once those were done, I decided to spend more time on the Emergency Food & Grocery project. That is what kept me occupied for my shift.
