What I Did Today

Today I returned to the Awex program and continued my schedule from before the break. I researched some decent jobs and posted them on the CTP site for others to see. I worked on the EFG list looking at counties that could be marked for completion. Lastly, I worked on the ERG list, investigating companies’ sites for contact emails.

What I Did Today

Today I returned from an extended absence over the holidays, and I tried to settle back in with doing my usual daily tasks. I started with researching and summarizing job listings to post to CTP’s skill center page. Afterwards, I spend some time practicing my typing speed as part of my professional skills development goals. Due to the break, I hadn’t worked on improving my typing for a couple of weeks, so I was unsurprisingly rusty and had trouble keeping up with the average speed I had during my previous session. I expect I will be able to warm back up by the end of the week, however. I also worked on trying to find LinkedIn contacts for past CTP Alumni, but I wasn’t able to find any from going down the list. I spend the rest of the time working on researching B-Corps and companies with ERGs for potential partnership outreach. I briefly looked if there were any companies that had not been reached out to already, but it looked as though none of the remaining ones had any obvious contact info, at least that the outreach template would fit into. I am hoping to be able to add more to the list as the week goes on.
