What I Did Today

Today I began by summarizing 3 job listings and posting them to CTP’s skill center page. I noticed early on that I wasn’t able to create new posts on WordPress, and Alex confirmed the problem on his end as well. He managed to fix it, and I was able to post again. Luckily, it didn’t slow me down much, as I could just type information in a separate document. I then spent a little bit of time practicing my typing speed. Although I didn’t reach the same speed I had before the holidays, I did maintain a high level of accuracy, which is encouraging. I think I will be able to reach the speed I was at previously sometime next week. Next, I on ERG and B-Corp research for potential outreach. For the next hour, I continued with the newly assigned task I was given yesterday, which is to research Rehabilitation Centers for potential partnership. Currently, I have just been adding them to the spreadsheet without doing outreach because Carrie has not provided a template specific to this form of outreach. I spent some time on looking up LinkedIn profiles for CTP Alumni, and managed to find a couple, one of which was former CTP board staff from the 80s. I am expected next week to go more smoothly than this week because I felt as though this week was just about recalibrating myself after my holiday break.
