Tues. June 4th

Hello. Today our class worked on proofreading and editing an article in Google Docs. I thought I was improving my Docs skills, but I don’t think so now. I struggled to complete this task.

What I did today

Today, I worked on some Google Docs projects that we were assigned to meter out our proficiency in the program. I think I did fairly well, but time will tell if my belief holds validity.

Specifically, we had to fix business letter formats, as well as go over a proofreading document, and correct all errors while reformatting it for ease of reading.

What I Did Today

Today CTT worked with the PRO people on editing and proofreading skills.

My internet service is still flaky and it was a bit disruptive for me, but I think all of my work was saved even though I was working offline for brief periods of time.

What I Did Today

Today we worked on a couple different assignments in Google Docs regarding formatting and proofreading. First we had to fix titles and headers, and then we spent time looking for spelling and grammar mistakes. I enjoy proofreading because I have an attention to detail. Using the Grammarly extension made it much easier, but surprisingly it didn’t seem to catch all of the mistakes. The next assignment was similar, but with more creativity and flexibility, so I enjoyed expressing myself with the formatting on that one.

What I Did Today

I started my day with the three daily job listings. Once those were completed, I had a short exchange with Carrie on Telegram and proceeded to work on the Emergency Food & Grocery project. That’s what had my attention until my shift was over.

What I Did Today

Today I did four job postings in the morning and then worked on the emergency food document a little before meeting with Alex T and Jose. We reviewed the remote management project to get up to date and on the same page, and we refined the documentation to be more presentable and professional. We laid out the next steps for me to take, to remotely wipe and reinstall Linux on the server.
