Today, I presented my tech article about TDK’s claims regarding an impressive energy density breakthrough in solid-state batteries.
Today we worked on our electives. I chose to work on Art Google Sheet and was having some difficulty finding specific required information. If I wasn’t able to find the information then I just used a different example.
Other than that I learned how to multiply items or totals on a spreadsheet.
Today I started out with some job postings for the students. Then I transitioned to working on the Dress for Success project with Lena. In addition to checking in with Carrie, we made very good progress on the Business-Casual slides, they are almost finished. We hope to have a first final draft done by the end of next week, and I think we’re on schedule!
I posted a few good jobs on the CTP job board. I also met with Carrie to go over the progress of the Dress For Success project I am working on with Austin. I am enjoying this project as someone who has been out of the job market for a while it’s allowing me to see the changes in the workplace with what clothing is acceptable now for men and women.
Today I presented my tech article and had a nice discussion with my associates about both my article and their articles. After the tech articles, I worked on the exploring BIOS lab for the rest of the session.
Today we started with our tech article presentations. I had prepared a Google Slides presentation for mine because I wanted to express my creativity and present my own technical interests. Although it wasn’t a news article, I think it was an ideal substitute and it led to a lot of discussion. Then I continued on the Disk Partitioning Lab. I managed to just about finish in time but only barely since we had a shorter week. I was happy to learn and look at my progress.
I finished my EMP interview questions and answers so I have notes to refer tofor tomorrow’s mock interview. I completed and submitted my POW flyer as my elective and submitted it. I learned how to adjust margins for helping to manage the placement of text and pictures. I also learned how to delete an extra page on my flyer.
