Sequoia Family Medical Center is a multi-specialty facility providing individualized and culturally-informed healthcare. They are looking for someone to schedule appointments, remind patients of appointments, answer incoming calls, route calls, verify and update patient information, process insurance eligibility, work with other departments on appointment scheduling to ensure patient flow, respond to patient inquiries, explain services available, and ensure patients are scheduled according to provider scheduling templates. They want someone who can work under pressure, is able and willing to treat patients with kindness and consideration, has a friendly personality with a desire to work with the public, is able to handle multiple functions, has an understanding of community-based organizations, has effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex and/or technical information to co-workers and others, is able to prioritize to maximize productivity, promotes the company’s values, and is able to relate to the public regardless of status or background. The pay rate is $18 – $19 / hr.
