Essential Functions of the Job:
Contacts: Receive, manage, and document telephone calls, emails, and other sources of contact from members, potential members, and providers, and explain health plan benefits and plan rules. Describe the types of services the Alliance offers to the Member within the managed care system. Provide clarification about issues regarding patient and physician rights and how the plan operates.; Conflict resolution: Resolve member problems/conflicts by convening with other departmental staff as needed.; Member communications: Create and/or mail appropriate member materials and communications as needed.; Computer: Perform ongoing data entry which assists in the maintenance of the Member Services department database to ensure data integrity.; Comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct, all regulatory and contractual requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Primary Responsibilities:
Engage courteously and professionally with all visitors and callers. ·
Answers agency multi-phone lines and operates voicemail system. ·
Screens calls, forwards calls, and /or records and forwards messages accurately.
Receives electronic or hard copy communication from clients or partner agencies and routes to appropriate staff/department.
Maintains confidentiality of staff and clients.; Receives all walk-in clients in the reception area, directing guests to appropriate areas or staff, as necessary.; Introduces clients to online resources such as our Child Care Finder and www.earlylearningSF.org.
Understands Agency’s programs/services and answers.; Monitors and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment in the lobby area including children’s play area and desk areas.
Rent Collection Specialist (Property Management)

Essential Duties:
Generate and review delinquency reports from property management software and track tenants with past due rents.; Contact tenants with past due rents to follow up on the status of past due rent payments, work with tenants on repayment agreements and refer tenants to Tenant Services for information on rental assistance.; Track payments for repayment agreements and report the status of repayments.; Conducts custom collection efforts for each tenant that consist of emails, phone calls, standard mail correspondence, and appointments at properties.; Meet with tenants to review account balances, delinquency history, and any topic related to the tenant’s ability to meet the financial obligations of their lease agreement and to establish relationships between property management and tenants.; Develops collections methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goals.; Communicates tenant rent collection efforts to Property Managers and Tenant Services.; Research tenant rent ledgers using property management software and works with the Associate Director of Finance and Systems to correct tenant rent ledger discrepancies.; Participates in monthly staff rent collection meetings and compiles necessary data to support efforts of the collective group.;
Coordinate and communicate with Project Analyst regarding rental assistance and/or rent collection-related matters.; Performs other job duties as required.
Skills Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
