Here is an in person IT helpdesk position in San Jose California on Dice. You will install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability. Rack and stack servers (lifting up to 50 lbs). Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards. Repair or replace damaged hardware. Upgrade systems to support compatible software. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware. Provide user support and act as the first point of contact for error reporting. Build strong relationships with colleagues across departments. Conduct daily backup operations and manage technical documentation. Perform asset management, including physical asset audits (4 times per year) and inventory tracking.

The pay is anywhere between $20- $40 an hour based on experience (40 hour work week)
