Marin Sanitary Service believes in the power of recycling to preserve our natural resources. They are looking for someone to provide courteous and efficient service via phone and in person, make return calls and send emails, greet and assist walk-in customers with waste collection and document shredding, collect payment for services, provide customers with account information, resolve customer complaints, guide customers on service selections, set-up new accounts, accurately document and create work orders, work with the outreach department to coordinate audits and assessments, maintain a knowledge of both franchised and non-franchised service offerings, maintain a basic understanding of applicable laws, and create and understand Excel reports. They are looking for someone who has excellent writing skills using Word, has knowledge of Excel, can analyze situations and adopt a course of action, can stay knowledgeable of the company, can become proficient with Soft-Pak customer management system, can learn the geography of the surrounding area, can communicate clearly and concisely, can demonstrate attention to detail, has decision-making and problem-solving skills, can establish and maintain effective working relationships, and can work collaboratively in a team environment. The pay rate ranges from $18 – $22 / hr.
