Customer Service Representative (Full-Time, On-Site, San Mateo)

California Water Service is offering tools and resources that will keep saving water every day, now and into the future. They are looking for someone to provide customer service via all communication channels, both written and verbal, address customer requests and inquiries, schedule field requests, respond to water quality and service disruptions, organize and schedule service delivery, billing, and collections, document work orders, respond to customer emails, update customer accounts, perform tasks associated with reports and accurate accounting, provide customers with information about programs and services, communicate with outside agencies and departments, communicate between districts, and process customer paperwork as necessary. They want someone who is able to communicate effectively with the supervisor and co-workers, as well as the public, has the ability to perform basic mathematical functions and reconcile account information, is proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, is able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals, has strong reading and writing skills, is able to effectively communicate billing protocols, and is able to prioritize assignments and work in order of urgency and sensitivity. The pay ranges from $28.16 – $32.88 / hr.
