Customer Service Representative (Full-Time, On-Site, San Jose)

Willow Glen Pet Hospital gives it their all to give their customers’ pets the care and attention they deserve. They are looking for someone to greet clients and handle concerns with empathy, answer phone calls to schedule appointments, respond to inquiries, and direct important questions to appropriate staff, handle calendaring and reminders, check clients in and out, distributing and collecting paperwork, inform clients about procedures, events, and billing, and proficiently use veterinary practice software for processing scheduling, check-ins, records, payments, and inputting data. They want someone who enjoys working with animals even when they are stressed, can multitask and manage time effectively, has strong communication skills, is respectful and professional, maintains confidentiality, maintains professional conversations without gossiping, understands vaccinations and protocols, to explain pets’ needs to clients, and is proficient with computer systems including Microsoft Offce, word processing software, medical software, and label-making software. The pay rate is $18 – $26 / hr. based on experience in veterinary assistance.
