Today, I researched computer terms for a pre-lab and conducted experiments with Disk Imaging on a virtual machine (VM).

I posted a few great leads for the Job Fair/Career Events for Nothern California on the CTP job board. I posted 3 songs on the CTP playlist for events. And I worked with Austin on the Dress For Success slide project. We updated the slide project inside out, which I’m proud of.

Today we started a new lab to learn Disk Imaging. We started with a presentation about what disk imaging is, and then we got to try it in a virtual machine. Disk imaging is sort of like a form of resetting a computer to a previous state, but it’s used as a system recovery primarily …

Work On POW Point Sales and Customer Training, Typing, Google Sheets, and Docs.

Today we went over a presentation on the Disk Imaging lab that we will be working on this week. After the presentation, I started working on and completed the Prelab, then started working on the Disk Imaging Required Lab.

Today we role played as customers/ customer service representatives for the POW Fitness Center. We were scheduling appointments on a spreadsheet for massage therapy, and taking client information for creating a membership and explaining the different types of membership that the POW Fitness Center has.

I typed 38 WPM in the exercise. And we did the mock POW membership sign-up. But I will be doing it tomorrow.

Today we worked on a customer service scenario. It was a little challenging, but I eventually caught on. We used spread sheets for this exercise. I feel like I’m improving a little with spread sheets.

I learned customer service skills and data entry. I get to try my luck tomorrow.
