I did the Independent Challenge today. I think I did ok. I figured out some things at a late time. Did my accountability assignment.

Today I completed my 3 independent chanllenges. I also was able to setup my 3CX phone profile.

I started off the day with doing 3 job listings. I then moved on to work on the emergency food list with finding organizations mainly in the bay area. I then worked on the disability ERG project.

I posted some excellent resources for job research on the CTP job board. I worked on the ERG research project and reached out to a couple of possible ERG collaboration prospects for the near future. Today, I actively participated in class discussions, and seeking clarification on any unclear topics could have deepened my understanding of the material. Additionally, I like group discussions have provided me with diverse perspectives and enhanced collaborative learning.

I learned how to use the application follow-up process in my job log. I felt this was helpful because it is important to follow up with employers for jobs you want to apply for. Then we sent an e-mail asking for an update on our application. Then we called and left a message about the …

I practiced sending e-mails and leaving a phone message for a prospective employer. I learned how to work with my personal job log. I also learned a shortcut for hyper-link using control and K.

Work on follow-up on job search applications via email and call, work on Google Sheets, resume, LinkedIn, and job search.

Today was employment services so I worked on the job application follow-up presentation, for the second hour I worked on answering some more of the questions for interviews, and for the last hour we practiced our interview questions

Today we went over how to follow-up for a job application, both on the phone and by email. We followed templates and prepared for this kind of task for Supported Job Search in the future. We then had some time to work on our employment labs, and I worked on my LinkedIn profile during this …
