Today in class, we worked on the independent challenge, and when we were done with that, we worked on other assignments if we had any.

Today I took a test on how to use google docs and sheets. I’m still a little rusty on sheets and I will have to learn more. That is all.

In my first hour I researched and shared several job listings. I spent the rest of my day calling contacts from the spreadsheet explaining who we are and what we are offering, seeing if they would be interested in a presentation. I called 34 places.

Today I learned about several different job search websites and how to efficiently search for jobs on these websites Additonally I looked into possible volunteer opportunities in my area, and practiced some interview questions

I worked on a cover email that I can use when applying for jobs in future. Also worked on setting up accounts with jobsearch sites. Also worked on SQL a little.

Today, I did my interview questions and watched a video on where to look for jobs; also, we looked for jobs using Monster, Dice, and Simplyhired. I found a job where OpenAI was hiring so that’s great

Today I learned that I give too much details on the employment gap. I learned what to say instead. I also learned that sometimes being vague is the best option.

Today in class, we had time to work on our professional documents. We also went over our interview questions as a group at the end of class. To finish off class, we did our assessment, and we did our “What I did today.”

Today I learned how to run a sysnop on my vm that ran windows 10. I also learned the difference between a file manger and a device manager. A file manager is outside the vm, a device manager is inside the software.

In my first hour, I found and shared several job listings. I have completed coverage of all counties in the Sacramento Valley and San Joaquin Valley. These areas were relatively quick to complete, as most are rural with a limited number of colleges. I expect that the Southern California counties will require more time due …
