Today I finished the first Drive Imaging Lab project. (YAY!) And then I started looking at the Advanced lab for the week….

Today I posted my article for the week and we started on the lab for the week in class. I am taking my time with this one, step by step through the directions….

Today we had Employment Services with Carrie and we worked through some resume and interview issues. A resume and personal interview questions feel so personal and they’re really hard to do when you have low esteem. I can see how working through possible questions before an interview really will help…

I tried to catch up in the Computer Hardware project. I have never done anything like this…. Just programmed but always had a tech person to set everything up. I have a weird block about it! It is really good to learn some of this and to try to get more comfortable with it….

I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to catch up with the class and I was devastated. Alex helped me to catch up on virtual machines. I was stuck in a saved state on them and not running…. And I installed and looked at a Windows VM and the installed partitions. I …

Today we worked on Employment Services with Carrie. We worked through some interview questions and the STAR method for answer questions (answering with a Situation, Task, Action and Result). Interviewing is very SCARY for me (Sketchy Cardiac-Arrest and Ridiculous Yammering).

Today we went over our Thursday process for CTT: discussing tech articles and Skillsoft summary reporting. We used WireGuard and rdp again. Connected to our box at CTP and started copying iso’s. This is still a bit foreign for me….. Until it’s not, ARGH.

Whew! Loaded class. Today we set up a VPN with wireguard and RDC and connected to the CTP machine. We also went over the osTicket system that we will be using and I created my first ticket and worked on snipping and editing snips. A lot of new stuff for me. I think every day …
