Product Support (Software) Technician, for Gigatron Software Corporation, at Irvine, CA 92606

Provide support to software customers by answering product inquiries, troubleshooting issues, offering product training, and writing technical help articles. Customers include court system personnel and independent freelance court reporters.

These are some of the responsibilities that you will have at the job

  1. Resolve incoming customer requests through telephone (95%), message board, email, and occasional user group meetings. Log all events and results in database.
  2. Identify problems by following troubleshooting guidelines; researching answers.
  3. Resolve problems by providing information; guiding client through corrective steps; escalating unresolved problems to supervision.
  4. Train customers by providing step-by-step instructions.
