Today I did job postings and then continued work on Linux Network Bridges. After several hours of testing I had been able to create a bridge with a randomly assigned MAC but not a properly cloned MAC. I tried many different configurations but none of them worked as expected. I finally found a source online that pointed me to another configuration file and after making the recommended change things instantly worked as expected! It feels so good to finally understand and have the answer.
